Kumamoto jo saiken <Kumamoto Castle Restoration>
In 1607 Kumamoto Castle was completed by Kiyomasa Kato.
In the Satsuma Rebellion of 1877, the castle tower was destroyed by fire.
The castle tower was rebuilt in 1960, but the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake also damaged Kumamoto Castle. Nevertheless the one pillar endured by
400 years old technologies. and was called “miracle one-pillar”.
And restoration works have been carried out again
